Glazed Tarragon Carrots

The carrots can be sliced diagonally or cut into sticks; the idea is to make the pieces the same size so that they cook evenly.

3 cups sliced carrots

2 tbsp. Maple syrup (Approx.)

1 tbsp. butter

1 tsp. dried tarragon

Salt and Pepper to taste

 

In a medium saucepan with steamer basket, steam carrots until tender-crisp. 

Remove from steamer and place in a bowl. Add butter, tarragon and drizzle with Maple Syrup.

Season to taste with salt and pepper and serve immediately.
